Comparison of Genesis 49:10 King James 1611,(JPS)  Jewish Publication Society 1917 ,Targums Onkelos

Comparison of Genesis 49:10 Pentateuch:

King James 1611, Jewish Publication Society 1917, Targums Onkelos, Jonathan Ben Uzziel/Palestinian, Jerusalem Fragments

✅ King James Bible agrees with the TARGUM Onkelos.

🔺 JPS 1917 does not agree with TARGUM Onkelos because it is based on Alexandrian ( revised standard version)  a Catholic Codex vaticanus.

🔥 Genesis 49:10

[10]The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, ▶until Shiloh come◀; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

❓❓❓JPS 49:10

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah,

Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,

❔▶As long as men come to Shiloh; ◀❔

And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be.

🔥 ONK 49:10

He who exerciseth dominion shall not pass away from the house of Jehuda, nor the saphra from his children’s children for ever,▶ until the Meshiha come◀, whose is the kingdom, and unto whom shall be the obedience of the nations (or, whom the peoples shall obey).

🔥 PAL 49:10

Kings shall not cease, nor rulers, from the house of Jehuda, nor sapherim teaching the law from his seed, till the time that the King,▶ the Meshiha, shall come⏪, the youngest of his sons; and on account of him shall the peoples flow together. How beauteous is the King, the Meshiha who will arise from the house of Jehuda! He hath girded his loins, and descended, and arrayed the battle against his adversaries, slaying kings with their rulers; neither is there any king or ruler who shall stand before him.

🔥 JER 49:10

Kings shall not cease from the house of Jehuda, nor sapherim teaching the law from his children’s children, until the time that the ▶King Meshiha shall come◀, whose is the kingdom, and to whom all the kingdoms of the earth shall be obedient.

🔴 NIV and CJB even takes out the word Shiloh?
🔷New International Version
The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until 👉  he to whom it belongs  👈 shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

🔍CJB

The scepter will not pass from Y’hudah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his legs, unto➡ he comes to whom⏪ [obedience] belongs; and it is he whom the peoples will obey.
