Why do they Worship the Lamb?

The ram(Lamb) was the sacred animal of two Egyptian gods, Amun and Khnum.

Exodus 8:26

And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

Ecclesiastes 1:9

[9]The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
